The boys headed down to Myrtle Beach South Carolina to the Ripken Experience to test themselves against some tough competition. The week long tournament had the Prospects playing pool play games against teams such as Lake Orion Dragons from Michigan, The Franklin Force from Illinois, Loundoun Longhorns from VA among others.

The week ended with the team as the 2 seed and 4-1. the playoffs began and the boys beat Sandy Springs GA in the first round 6-3 and then beat a very tough Baltimore Blueclaws team in the quarter final.

The next day was a big rematch with the Loundoun Longhorns who had handed us our only loss to that point and the boys got their revenge beating the Longhorns 8-6 to advance to the Championship Game!

The boys lost an all out war to the Brookpark Bulldogs of Cleveland OH. 8-6 and fought to the end against a stud team. The Parents and Coaches are truly proud of each and everyone of you. Total team effort.

12u Propects impress at Baseball Heaven Memorial Day Tournament, and take home the hardware!

The boys, 2 time runners up this year, have broken the ice with their first championship.

After going 4-0 in pool play in a very tough bracket that included Nokona USA, New Cannan Fury and Syag Braves. Pool play included 3 complete game wins, a walkoff hit, great team defense and some very close victories.

The Prospects then moved to the playoffs and faced the always tough LI Breakers, beating the Breakers 4-2. In the Championship, the boys took on a powerful Brooklyn Bonnies team and shut them down with gutsy pitching and a perfect defensive performance.

The timely hitting and solid "D" was too much for the BIG BONNIES and with a 3-0 win the boys take home their first championship.

Not bad for their first year. GO PROSPECTS!!!!

14u Propects impress at Baseball Heaven Spring Classic Tournament, and take home the hardware!

The Prospects, in there 1st tournament of the 2010 season, Came out on top by playing some good solid Baseball all weekend and playing against some very very good teams. Overall we went 5-0, and gave up just 2 runs the whole weekend! while posting a runs for of 23 and runs against of just 2.

In pool play, the Prospects Pitching and defense was on, as we shutout the Rebels 10-0, and then won a tight game vs the Cardinals 2-1, and then beating the Greenwich Cannons by a score of 4-1, to go 3-0 and take the top seed for the playoffs.

Next up, was the always tough LI Breakers in the semis. It was a GREAT GAME, as the Prospects were able to hold the good hitting breakers scoreless as we chipped away to come out on top by a score of 5-0.

In the finals, we were matched up against the Brentwood Chiefs. This game was a nail biter to the end, as both teams left players on the bases. The Prospects came out on top with AWESOME Pitching, a few timely hits, as well as some great baserunning. Hats off to the Chiefs for a GREAT GAME!!

The Prospects would like to extend a HEARTY CONGRATS to all the Boys as well as the Parents for being there with the cheering as well as putting up with late games ( into early Saturday am)!!
