The Prospects had a GREAT run and went 5-1 to take Home the Summer Playoff and Season Title.

11U NJBL Summer Season & Playoff Tournament CHAMPS!!
11U Prospects win 5 in a row in this double elimination tournament and beat the Eagles in the finals by a score of 3-1 and 3-2
WHAT A WEEKEND!! as the prospects had a tough schedule playing 9 games in a week!
We are VERY very proud of all the boys, as they had the cards stacked against them and pulled through with GREAT pitching and AWESOME defense!!
The last Inning of the final game was like an ESPN highlight film, with great plays to gun out the tying run at second( Paddy o'), then the tying run at home with a MONSTER 160 foot PERFECT throw from Meat(9 yrs old) to Brandon at the plate to get the runner by 3 steps, and then a great diving catch at 3rd (Joey) to put the game away.
This week was a TRUE team effort and everyone played AWESOME!! We are all so PROUD of the boys!! Great kids, Great Ball Players and GREAT TEAM EFFORT!!
11U Baseball Heaven 4th of July Tournament Champs!!
11U Prospects Go 6-0 in the tournament and beat the North Attleboro Renegades in the finals by a score of 9-5
WHAT A WEEKEND!! as the prospects score 60 runs total while giving up just 16 in 6 games for a +44
Hats off to the all the boys for playing a great tournament as well as showing class and sportsmanship throughout the weekend. As a coach, the best thing you can ever hear is how nice and well behaved your boys are, and I heard it from each and every team this weekend as well as a few that were not in our age bracket!. I am very VERY PROUD of all of you!!
Mission/Purpose
The Long Island Prospects was founded in 2004 with the purpose of putting some of the best youth baseball players on Long Island in a club to compete against top competition - locally, regionally, and nationally.
By playing against the top competition from the 10u age group and up, the players on the Long Island Prospects will develop quickly as ballplayers and become the best they can be.
